AIML - Roll Forward

            The Roll Forward feature streamlines the process of transferring tags from a previous year’s iXBRL document to the current year’s document. This ensures consistency, reduces manual effort, and improves efficiency in the tagging process.

Follow the steps below to complete the roll-forward process seamlessly.

      1. Create a new workspace for the current year’s document.
      2. Navigate to the current year’s workspace and click on the "Tagging Layer" icon.
      3. Click on AIML icon  to begin the automated tagging process.



      4. Click on "Choose file" , select  and upload the iXBRL file from the previous year.



      5. Click "Submit" to proceed.
      6. A window will appear prompting you to set the period for the current year’s document. Carefully cross-check the period details and make modifications if necessary.



      7. Once the period is verified, click "Submit" to finalize the process.


The Roll Forward process successfully transfers all tags from the previous year’s document to the current year’s document, ensuring consistency and efficiency. If you need further assistance, please contact our customer care team at support@datatracks.com
