The audit
log feature allows you to see details of user activities, including which
sections they accessed. To access the Audit Log, follow these steps:
Admin >> Audit Log
- Navigate
to the 'Admin' section at the right top.
- Select 'Audit Log' from the options available.
- On the
Audit Log page, you will see various fields such as "User Name,"
"Workspace Name," "Entity Name," "Section Name,"
"Start Date," and "End Date."
- These
fields are used to filter and narrow down the information you want in the
report. You can choose to fill in any combination of these fields based on what
you're looking for.
- After
you've filled in the necessary fields or left some of them blank, click the
"Search" button. The system will then process your request and
generate an Audit Log report based on the criteria you specified.
Download
as an Excel Worksheet:
- Once the
Audit Log report is generated, you will see an option labeled "Excel.” Upon
selecting this option, a pop-up window will appear with several choices.
- What is
on the screen: This
option will download the portion of the report that is currently visible on
your screen. It's useful for quick access to the immediate data you're viewing.
- Recent
50000 rows:
Choosing this option will download the most recent 50,000 rows of data from the
report. It's handy when you need a substantial but not the entire dataset.
- Using
custom filter (Entity name, Section name, Start date, and End Date): This option allows you to apply
specific filters to refine the data you want to download. You can specify
parameters like the entity's name, section name, start date, and end date to
tailor the report to your requirements.
- This Excel
file will contain all the relevant information about user activities, including
sections accessed, within the specified parameters you set in the fields.
By
following these steps, you can effectively retrieve and download the Audit Log
report tailored to your specific search criteria. This report can be a valuable
tool for tracking and analyzing user activities within the application.
