If the workspace status is set to
"Closed," it cant be used for direct filing. Ensure that the
workspace status is in "Open." Status.
2. Navigate to
the Generate Output section choose “EDGAR” option and select the “Prepare Documents.” This action enables the preparation of
documents specifically tailored for filing via EDGAR present under the
Direct Filing option.
3. Click on the “Prepare
for Filing” icon to commence the filing process with the SEC.. A pop-up
box will appear, prompting you to input the necessary details. Fill
in the relevant information and proceed by clicking the “Prepare” button.
4. Then, click on the “File
with SEC” icon to complete the filing process. In the subsequent pop-up
box, provide the required credentials and then click "Submit"
to finalize the submission.
XBRL
1. Begin by selecting "XBRL" from the Direct
Filing options menu. Next, choose "XBRL" from
the Generate section to ensure the proper configuration for
XBRL submission.
2. Click on the "Generate XBRL" icon. When the
process is complete, you'll see a green checkmark at the
bottom. At this point, click the "Validate and Download" icon
to continue.
3. After validation is complete, a pop-up will appear,
prompting you to download the Arelle Validation Report in Excel format. You can
either click "Excel Report" to download the report or
click "Cancel." This action will also activate the
"Prepare for Filing" option under the Direct Filing section.
4. Next, download the output files by clicking on the "Download
ZIP" icon located at the bottom of the Validate and Download section.
5. To initiate the filing process, click on the "Prepare
for Filing" icon. This can be done for either a live or test filing
with the SEC. Fill in the relevant details in the pop-up box and click "Prepare"
to move forward.
6. Now, complete the filing process by clicking on the "File
with SEC" icon. In the pop-up box that appears, provide the necessary
credentials and click "Submit." The application will then
facilitate the simultaneous filing of both EDGAR (with Exhibits) and XBRL.
7. For test filings, you can locate the accession code under
the Direct Filing section. For live filings, monitor the filing status within
the Direct Filing section to ensure successful submission.
iXBRL
1. Start by navigating to the Direct
Filing options and choosing "iXBRL". This directs
your filing process towards using iXBRL for your submission.
2. Within the Generate section,
click on the "iXBRL" icon. Next, click "Run
Prerequisites" to ensure all necessary requirements are met. Once the
prerequisites are complete and you can see the green checkmark
indicating readiness, click the "Generate iXBRL" icon to
initiate the generation process.
3. After generating your iXBRL
document, proceed to validate it by clicking the "Validate and Download"
icon. Once validation is successful, you'll see the option to download the
output files as a ZIP archive at the bottom of the screen. This step
also activates the "Prepare for Filing" option under the
Direct Filing section.
4. When the pop-up window appears,
you'll have the option to download the Arelle Validation Report in Excel
format. This report gives you detailed info into the validation process,
ensuring your iXBRL document is accurate and compliant. Choose "Excel
Report" to download or click "Cancel" if you don't
need it.
5. To preview how your iXBRL
document will appear to the SEC, click on the "Generate iXBRL Preview"
icon. This lets you review the document and ensure it's ready for submission.
6. Now, click on the "Prepare
for Filing" icon in the Direct Filing section to start the filing
process for either live or test submissions with the SEC. Fill in the relevant
details in the pop-up box and click "Prepare" to move
forward.
7. Finally, complete the filing
process by clicking on the "File with SEC" icon. Enter your credentials
in the pop-up box and click "Submit". The application will
seamlessly handle the simultaneous filing of both iXBRL and exhibits.
