Create entity

      An "Entity" is a term used to describe a company that's required to create and submit periodic reports to regulatory authorities in iXBRL format. It's important to note that a single firm can have multiple entities under its umbrella. To uniquely identify each of these entities, they are assigned a Central Index Key.

      To proceed with the process of tagging, first, we need to create an entity. Please follow the provided steps below to create it.

Admin >> Entity >> Add >> Submit

      Click on the “Admin” menu at the top right of your screen. Next, select “Entity” and then click on the "Add" button on the screen. This action will trigger the Entity Creation form to appear.

     

 


The form includes the following:
  1.          Name of the entity
  1.          Entity type
  1.          Identifier (CIK- Central Index Key )
  1.          Trade symbol
  1.          Website address of the entity
  1.          Registered address
  1.          City
  1.          State
  1.          Zip code
  1.          Country name

Note :

  1. Central Index Key is a unique ID for companies who share financial information with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

      After you've entered all the necessary details into the form, carefully review the information to ensure it's accurate. Then click on the "Submit" button to complete the entity creation process. If you wish to modify the entity details, you can modify it. How to edit an Entity?
