Possibilities of broken links and removing it

      There are situations where the link between the document and the spreadsheet may become broken, affecting the consistency of your data. This can occur through direct link removal or by deleting linked content. Understanding how to remove these broken links is essential. This guide provides clear steps on the causes of broken links, how to identify and remove it.

By Removing the Link directly:
  1. Right-click on the linked content within the spreadsheet.
  2. Select "Remove Link" from the options. This action will break the link for the selected cell(s).



By Removal of a line item:
      When you attempt to remove one or more line items in the spreadsheet which are linked to the document causes breakage of links, when this happens, you will receive a prompt notification for confirming removal of links. On confirmation, the selected link(s) will break.



     Identify Broken Links:
      In the document, if there are any broken links, it will be highlighted in red. This visual cue helps you to quickly spot which links are broken and no longer valid.  



If you wish to remove the broken links which are present, follow the below steps.

      1. Choose either multiple values or individual values that are indicated as broken links. These will typically be highlighted in red to denote their status.
      2. Navigate to the Tools menu located in the toolbar at the top of your screen.
      3. From the Tools menu, select "Remove Source Link". This action will disconnect the source link from the selected values, effectively removing the broken link.
      4. Alternatively, you can right-click on the selected values and choose "Remove Source Link" from the context menu to achieve the same result.
