Add or Remove bookmarks

Add or Remove bookmarks

Bookmarks are useful for marking specific locations within a document, making it easy to return to them quickly. They function as anchors that can be linked to other parts of the document, enhancing navigation and reference efficiency. Here's how to add and remove bookmarks:

Adding a Bookmark

      1. Navigate to the exact location in the document where you want to place the bookmark.
      2. Access the toolbar and click on the "Bookmark" icon under the "Insert" tab. This action will open the bookmark creation dialog.

      3. In the dialog box, enter a descriptive Bookmark Name or Anchor Name. It helps identify the bookmark and makes it easier to link to it later.

      4. Click the "OK" button to create the bookmark. A flag icon will appear at the specified location, indicating the presence of the bookmark.

Removing a Bookmark

            1. Click on the "Bookmark" icon in the toolbar to open the bookmark management dialog.
            2. Clear the contents in the Anchor Name field and select the bookmark you want to remove from the dropdown menu.
            3. Click the "Remove" button to delete the selected bookmark. The bookmark will be removed from the document, and the flag icon will disappear.
