Tag Boolean values


      Boolean Type items refer to values that can either be true or false. By following these step-by-step instructions, you'll be able to accurately assign Boolean values to items in the system.

  1. To begin, select the value that needs to be tagged. Right-click on it and select Force Highlight. Once the value is highlighted in yellow, you can proceed with tagging.

  2. With the value highlighted, select and right-click on it again and choose Add to Grid. This action will add the value to the grid at the bottom of the screen, preparing it for the next steps.

  3. Next, navigate to the the Presentation Tree and choose the element. Then Drag and Drop it onto the selected value in the grid. This step ensures that the element is properly associated with the value for tagging.

  4. After associating the element, assign the appropriate period to the tagged value. 

  5. To specify whether the value is true or false, select the tagged value from the grid. Right-click on it and choose Modify Enum Value. This action will open a dialogue box where you can select either True or False. Once you have made your selection, click OK to confirm.

  6. Finally, click on the Tag icon to complete the tagging process. This final step ensures that the Boolean value is accurately assigned and tagged within the system a red box will appear around the value.


      By following these steps in sequence, you can efficiently assign Boolean values, ensuring data accuracy and integrity within the system.
